Embark on an exciting journey through the Amazon with this trip to Puerto Narino, a town that has maintained its indigenous roots.
Description
We'll meet at the designated time at the Leticia Boardwalk. From here, we'll board a boat to travel up the Amazon River toward Puerto Nariño, a town rich in history and tradition.
Upon arrival, we'll explore this Colombian municipality with a local guide. Most inhabitants of Puerto Nariño belong to indigenous ethnic groups. We'll learn about their culture as we navigate the streets, green meadows, and paths along the serene Loretoyacu River.
During our visit, we'll discuss the customs and traditions of the Ticuna, Cocama, and Yagua ethnic groups, who are the primary residents of this area. This town is known as "Colombia's natural crib."
We will enjoy a typical lunch in Puerto Nariño. After this, we'll set sail on a canoe down the Loretoyacu River, renowned for its biodiversity. The waters host crocodiles, piranhas, anacondas, piracucu fish, and river dolphins.
Finally, we'll return to the boat and head back to Leticia, concluding the tour.
