The day trip to Reserva Natura Park offers insights into a vibrant area of Colombia, including a blue clay bathing experience and an indigenous tattoo workshop.

Description

Early morning pick-up will occur at your hotel in Leticia for a journey of approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) to Reserva Natura Park, known for its wildness and exuberance.

Your adventure begins with an ecological hike through the Amazon jungle, featuring the renowned Ceiba tree, noted as the tallest in the Amazon. You'll also view giant water lilies indigenous to the world's largest river. A unique experience includes bathing in blue clay, revealing its properties during the visit.

Furthermore, a workshop on tattoos utilizing huito, a notable plant from northern South America will be conducted. Attendees may choose to get a tattoo, as it is traditionally used by natives for insect repellent properties.
