Reserva Natura Park Day Trip

The day trip to Reserva Natura Park includes activities such as bathing in blue clay and an indigenous tattoo workshop.

Description

Early in the morning, hotel pickup is provided in Leticia for a trip to the north of the country. After traveling approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles), you will arrive at Reserva Natura Park. This area features some of the most vibrant regions in Colombia.

Upon arrival, the adventure begins with an ecological hike in the Amazon jungle. You will learn about the Ceiba, the tallest tree in the Amazon, and see giant water lilies in the world's largest river. You will also experience bathing in blue clay and discover its properties.

The tour includes a tattoo workshop using huito, a plant from northern South America, with an option to receive a tattoo. This plant is traditionally used by natives for insect repellent.

During the excursion, regional coffee and fruit will be provided. After the 12-hour tour of the reserve, participants will return to the bus for the trip back to Leticia.
