Reserva Natura Park Day Trip

The day trip to Reserva Natura Park offers an exploration of Colombia's vibrant natural landscape, including a blue clay bathing experience and an indigenous tattoo workshop.

Description

The tour begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Leticia, followed by a 50-kilometre (31 miles) journey to Reserva Natura Park, known for its rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, participants will engage in an ecological hike through the Amazon jungle, featuring the notable Ceiba tree, the tallest in the Amazon. The tour will also include viewing giant water lilies found in the area's river.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to bathe in blue clay, which has various reputed benefits. Additionally, a workshop featuring tattoos with huito will be offered, a plant known for insect-repellent properties. Attendees can opt to receive a tattoo during this session.

Throughout the excursion, coffee and fruit from the region will be provided. The tour concludes after approximately 12 hours, with a return bus journey to Leticia.
