Lettere Castle Guided Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet at the main entrance of Lettere Castle to begin a guided tour of this medieval fortress in the Campania region.

Before entering the fortress, we will see the remains of the hermitage of Our Lady of Succour, featuring an ancient bell tower and views of the Lattari Mountains and Gulf of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius in the background.

After visiting the chapel, we'll proceed to the castle of Lettere, built in the 10th century under the Duchy of Amalfi. The tour begins with the Courtyard of Weapons and the Keep, where a museum displays the history of the families who resided in the bastion.

We'll continue our visit at the Torre del Trigo (Wheat Tower), which houses another museum with bronze and ceramic objects found in the archaeological excavations around the fortress.

Finally, after an hour and a half's walk, we'll conclude our tour at the meeting point.
