Tibet to Nepal: 7 Day Tour
Day 1: Lhasa
Upon arrival at Lhasa Airport or the main train station, you will be transferred to your hotel in Lhasa, allowing time to relax before exploring Tibet.
Day 2: Lhasa
Following breakfast, your guided tour of Lhasa begins at Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama. You will then visit the Jokhang Temple and the bustling Barkhor district, where you can enjoy traditional Tibetan tea. The day concludes with a welcome meal at a local restaurant.
Day 3: Lhasa – Dadong – Lhasa
After breakfast, drive to the ancient village of Dadong and explore Nyimatang Monastery. Meet a local family and share a traditional meal with them. Later, visit the Sera Monastery to witness debates among monks before returning to your hotel in Lhasa.
Day 4: Shigatse
Depart Lhasa for Shigatse after breakfast. The route includes crossing the Gangbala Pass at 16,400 feet with views of Yamdrok Lake and the Nyenchen Khangsar. Visit Gyantse and Palcho Monastery before a guided tour of Shigatse.
Day 5: Shigatse - Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp
Explore Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in the morning before heading towards Rongbuk. Stop at Lhatse for lunch, then witness stunning views at the Pang-La Pass. Spend the night camping near Everest Base Camp.
Day 6: Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp - Kyirong
Experience a sunrise over Mount Everest, visit Rongbuk Monastery, and then head to Everest Base Camp. Drive to Kyirong for the final night of your tour.
Day 7: Kyirong - Nepal
End your tour at the Tibet-Nepal border (border crossing not included).

Important information
A special permit is required to enter Tibet; provide passport details when booking. The Tibet Entry Permit will be issued in approximately 8 working days.Pickup from the airport or train station is available at 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm.Transfer back is at 6:30 am, 8 am, or 12 pm.Alternative pickup/drop-off times will be arranged if needed.
Note on prices
A minimum of two participants is required. Solo travelers can either pay a solo fee or reschedule at no extra charge. For group bookings with an odd number of participants, book double rooms first, followed by single rooms, noting that you are traveling together.
