Tibet to Nepal: 7 Day Tour

Day 1: Lhasa

Your tour begins with a pickup from Lhasa Airport or the main train station, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Lhasa.

Day 2: Lhasa

After breakfast, your guided tour commences. Visit Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama, and continue to Jokhang Temple to observe pilgrims. Explore the Barkhor district and enjoy traditional Tibetan tea. A welcome meal is included at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Lhasa – Dadong – Lhasa

After breakfast, travel to the village of Dadong, explore Nyimatang Monastery, and meet a local family for a meal. Visit Sera Monastery to witness a monk debate before returning to Lhasa.

Day 4: Shigatse

Depart Lhasa after breakfast for Shigatse. Pass over Gangbala and visit Gyantse for the Palcho Monastery and Kumbum. Enjoy a guided tour of Shigatse before your overnight stay.

Day 5: Shigatse - Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp

Visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in the morning, then head to Lhatse for lunch. Continue to the Mount Everest Nature Reserve and stay overnight in Rongbuk.

Day 6: Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp - Kyirong

Experience sunrise over Mount Everest, visit Rongbuk Monastery, and travel to Everest Base Camp. Drive towards Kyriong for your final night.

Day 7: Kyirong - Nepal

Your tour concludes at the Tibet-Nepal border (border crossing not included).

A special permit is required for Tibet; provide passport details when booking. You will receive it within 8 working days. Bring your passport and Chinese visa.Pickup times are at 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm.Return transfers are at 6:30 am, 8 am, or 12 pm.If timings differ, arrangements will be made.

Note on prices

A minimum of two participants is required. Solo travelers may pay an additional fee or reschedule. For groups with an odd number, first book double rooms, then single rooms, specifying relationships during booking.
