On our day trip to Liberia and Santa Rosa National Park, we will explore diverse forests and significant historical sites of Costa Rica.

Liberia & Santa Rosa National Park Day Trip

Between 7:30 and 8:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Guanacaste. We will travel for 1 hour and 30 minutes to Santa Rosa National Park and Liberia, the capital of the province.

During the drive, you will enjoy the scenery and learn about the history of Costa Rica. Inside Santa Rosa National Park, we will visit the Casona de Santa Rosa, known for the Battle of Santa Rosa.

We will explore the Costa Rican rainforest where wildlife such as jaguars, pumas, and deer may be spotted, along with magpies and toucans.

Afterwards, we will head to Liberia, just an hour from Santa Rosa, and stop at a restaurant to try casado, a traditional Costa Rican dish consisting of rice, beans, fried sweet plantain, and meat or fish.

A guided tour of the main monuments in Liberia's city center will last for 1 hour.

After 6 hours of exploration, we will return you to your hotel in Guanacaste.
