Liberia & Santa Rosa National Park Day Trip

On our day trip to Liberia and the Santa Rosa National Park, we'll travel through incredible and biodiverse forests and visit significant places related to Costa Rican history.

Liberia & Santa Rosa National Park Day Trip

Between 7:30 and 8:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Guanacaste. We will set off on an adventure through the Santa Rosa National Park and Liberia, the capital of the province.

During the 1 hour 30 minutes drive to our first destination, we will admire the scenery and discuss the history of Costa Rica.

At Santa Rosa National Park, we will share information about the Casona de Santa Rosa, known for being the site of the Battle of Santa Rosa.

We will explore the Costa Rican rainforest to spot various wildlife, including jaguars, pumas, and deer, along with possible sightings of magpies and toucans.

Afterwards, we will drive 1 hour to Liberia and take a break at a restaurant to try casado, a traditional Costa Rican dish consisting of rice, beans, fried sweet plantain, and meat or fish.

We will then enjoy a 1-hour guided tour around the main monuments in Liberia's city centre.

After 6 hours of exploration, we will return you to your hotel in Guanacaste.
