6-day Tour of Northern Peru

Explore the landscapes, towns, and archaeological sites of northern Peru on this 6-day tour and learn about the country's culture and history! You'll start in Lima and end in Chiclayo.

6-Day Tour Details

Day 1: Lima

Welcome to Peru! We'll pick you up at the Lima airport and take you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 2: Lima

The day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided tour of Lima including the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, Casa Aliaga, and the Larco Museum showcasing over 5,000 years of history. Return to the hotel to conclude the day.

Day 3: Lima – Trujillo

After breakfast, you'll fly to Trujillo on your own. Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Trujillo – Huacas del Sol & de la Luna – Chan Chan – Trujillo

Breakfast at your accommodation in Trujillo precedes a city tour visiting Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and several historic sites. Next, visit the Huacas del Sol and de la Luna archaeological site, followed by a scenic lunch at Huanchaco, and a trip to Chan Chan. Return to your hotel in Trujillo for the night.

Day 5: Trujillo – El Brujo – Chiclayo

Enjoy breakfast before traveling to the El Brujo archaeological site. After exploring, proceed to your hotel in Chiclayo.

Day 6: Chiclayo – Túcume – Lambayeque – Huaca Rajada

After breakfast, visit the Tucume site. Proceed to Lambayeque to see the Royal Tombs of the Sipan Museum, have lunch, and continue to Huaca Rajada. At day's end, transfer to the airport in Chiclayo for your departure.

Please note that the Royal Tombs of the Sipan Museum and Chan Chan are closed on Monday. We recommend departing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday.
