Venture into the deepest gorge found in western Peru on our hiking and abseiling activity in the Autisha Canyon. We'll set off from Lima and go on an exhilarating adventure!

Activity Details

After picking you up at the designated time in your preferred meeting point in Lima, we'll embark on a 3.5-hour drive to the province of Huarochirí, crossing the Santa Eulalia Valley to reach the Autisha Canyon starting point. Following a short 15-minute hike from the closest farmhouse to our starting point, we will don our safety gear and receive instructions for our initial abseiling into the natural tunnels. The descent will feature six underground levels, accessible via stairs and a suspension bridge, with illumination provided by our flashlights.

At the journey's end, we will admire Shekel Waterfall. Then, participants can test their courage by abseiling down the 90-foot-high (30-meter) canyon walls next to the waterfall. We will continue hiking out of the canyon to the parking area for a delicious lunch featuring typical Peruvian dishes before beginning our return.

On the way back, we will stop at Santa Eulalia to taste its famous homemade ice creams before returning to Lima, concluding the day after approximately 13 hours.
