On this day trip to Ica, discover three attractions of the southern coast of Peru: the Ballestas Islands, the Nazca Lines, and the Huacachina dunes.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Lima to start our journey to the region of Ica. The trip includes a stop for breakfast. After a 3-hour drive, we will arrive in Paracas for a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, where you can observe birds, sea lions, and possibly Humboldt penguins during the 2-hour tour.

Following the islands, we will travel to the Pisco Airport for a sightseeing flight over the Nazca Lines. The 2-hour flight allows you to view these ancient geoglyphs up to 656 feet (200 meters) long, which can only be fully appreciated from the air.

Next, we will visit the Huacachina Oasis where you can have lunch. The trip also includes a 1-hour buggy tour of the dunes, featuring a sandboarding experience. Afterward, we will return to Lima, concluding this 16.5-hour day trip at your hotel.
