Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your selected meeting point in Lima to begin our journey towards the Widow's Mountain Range. The drive will take approximately 2.5 hours and includes a stop at Santa Rosa de Quives for breakfast. Here, we will explore the childhood home of Rose of Lima, visiting her chapel and the wishing well.

Next, we'll have a brief stop at the Cochapampa viewpoint for scenic views, followed by a visit to the Pomora Waterfall, also known as Mellizadera. We will reach an altitude of 4800 metres (15750 feet) to admire the Lagoon of 7 Colours, where a ritual will be held to pay homage to the Earth. You will have 2 hours of free time to explore or enjoy a boat trip across the lagoon.

We will continue to Huaros for lunch, where you can try local dishes such as trout or pachamanca. After lunch, we will return to Lima with a stop in Canta for rest and shopping for local products. The total duration of the trip will be 16 hours, concluding at the original meeting point.
