Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your selected meeting point in Lima to begin our journey towards the Widow's Mountain Range. The drive offers spectacular views to prepare us for the experience ahead.

During this 2.5-hour trip from Lima, we'll stop at Santa Rosa de Quives for breakfast and explore the area where Rose of Lima spent her childhood, visiting her chapel and wishing well. Bring a letter with your wishes to throw into the well.

We will have a brief pause at the Cochapampa viewpoint for impressive views of Canta and nearby Andean villages. Our next destination is the magical Pomora Waterfall, also known as Mellizadera.

Continuing to 4800 meters (15750 feet) above sea level, we will admire the Lagoon of 7 Colours, a sacred place in the Widow's Mountain Range. Here, we will perform a ritual to pay homage to the Earth and have 2 hours of free time for exploration or a boat trip across the lagoon.

After this, we will head to Huaros for lunch, where you can try local dishes like trout or pachamanca.

After re-energizing, we will return to Lima, stopping at Canta for a break and the option to purchase local products. We will conclude after a total of 16 hours at the original meeting point.
