Discover the two sides of Peru's capital with this Lima Contrasts Tour, where you'll learn about its history and curiosities.

Lima Contrasts Tour

The tour starts with hotel pickup at 9 am, allowing you to immerse yourself in Lima's neighborhoods and culture. We'll first visit the Rímac district, exploring its streets and colonial houses to understand local life.

Next, we'll ascend Cerro San Cristóbal, an important pilgrimage site with the Monumental Cross built in 1928. From this viewpoint, if visibility allows, we may see San Lorenzo Island and the beaches of Chorrillos and La Punta.

Our journey continues to the historical center of Lima, where we'll visit Plaza de San Martín and Jirón de la Unión, significant for its connection to the Peruvian aristocracy and the founding of Lima by Francisco Pizarro.

We will also see the majestic Plaza de Armas and the convents of Santo Domingo and San Francisco. A lunch break at a local restaurant will follow this tour. To conclude, we'll learn how to prepare a traditional pisco sour, Lima's iconic drink, finishing the tour with a return to your hotel around 5 pm.
