Lima Food Markets Tour + Tasting

We'll pick you up from your hotel to tour Lima's traditional markets. Our first stop is a small traditional market in Surquillo, showcasing typical local ingredients, often considered authentic Andean and Amazonian treasures. You'll discover numerous domestic fruit varieties, each with a unique flavor, and interact with local shopkeepers.

Next, we head to the charming fishing village of Chorrillos, known for its fresh seafood. Here, we will explore the secrets of Peru's most celebrated dish and choose the finest fish for crafting the iconic ceviche.

The tour continues as we take the Metropolitano bus to the center of Lima, visiting the Central Market and Chinatown. We'll reveal the secrets of famous Peruvian dishes and how they fuse with Asian gastronomy. Participants will taste typical Peruvian-Chinese snacks or street food, such as picarones or anticuchos, before concluding at Alameda Chabuca near Plaza Mayor, finishing with rice pudding and mazamorra morada.

After 3 hours of exploration, we'll return you to your hotel in Lima.
