Walk through the historic center of Lima and taste the different flavors that characterize the Peruvian capital on our street food tour.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start an exciting street food tour of Lima. During this route, we'll discover the rich flavors of Peruvian gastronomy.
Our route will start at Avenida Abancay, crossing to the local side of Lima. We will visit the El Hueco market and walk among the stalls of different street vendors towards Chinatown, discussing various aspects of this typical market.
In Chinatown, we will discuss Chinese migration to Peru and its local influence, allowing us to taste snacks such as choclo con queso, chicha morada, mazamorra morada, lúcuma juice, anticucho, and picarones, among other delicacies.
We will conclude the street food tour with tastings of ceviche and a variety of delicious tropical fruits. The tour lasts 2.5 hours and will finish at Parque La Muralla.
