On this guided tour of the museums found at Park of the Exposition, you'll explore two of Lima's cultural venues: the Lima Art Museum and the Museum of Italian Art while discovering the city's first park.
Tour Details
We'll meet at the Lima Art Museum at the designated time to begin our 1.5-hour exploration of Peruvian art, featuring one of the most complete collections ranging from pre-Hispanic masterpieces to contemporary works.
Next, we will explore the Park of the Exposition, admiring monuments such as the Palacio de la Exposición (1872), the Byzantine Pavilion, the Gothic Pavilion, and the Neptune Fountain.
Following this, we'll have a guided tour of the Museum of Italian Art, showcasing a collection of 20th-century works from Italian artists.
To conclude the tour, we'll walk through the Jirón de la Unión to reach Casa Tambo, a restaurant featuring art from renowned Peruvian artists. You may opt to stay here for a meal.
After this 2.5-hour tour, we'll conclude our experience.
