Alicudi & Filicudi Excursion

Take advantage of your trip to Lipari to visit the two westernmost Aeolian Islands. On this excursion, you'll enjoy the rural tranquility of Alicudi and visit the archaeological sites of Filicudi!

Alicudi & Filicudi Excursion

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, board the boat and set sail for a day of exploration.

We'll start our cruise along the coast of Lipari to admire the Faraglioni di Lipari. As the boat approaches the island of Filicudi, you'll also check out the Grotta del Bue Marino, the largest sea cave in the Aeolian archipelago.

Then we'll dock at the port of Filicudi and leave you two hours of free time to explore the island and grab some lunch. Be sure to visit the archaeological site of Capo Graziano, the remains of an ancient Neolithic settlement. You can also go to one of the many viewpoints to admire La Canna, a volcanic cliff over 80 meters tall.

After free time, we'll head to Alicudi, the westernmost of the Aeolian Islands. This small volcanic island has a population of only 150 people and no roads, with villages connected by a network of trails. You'll have two hours of free time to explore. You can visit the village of San Bartolomé and its church, which offers incredible views, or explore the area of Contrada Tonna for its rural houses.

At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Lipari, arriving 9 hours after the start of the tour.
