Alicudi & Filicudi Excursion
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, board the boat and set sail for a day of exploration.
We'll start our cruise along the coast of Lipari to admire the Faraglioni di Lipari. As the boat approaches the island of Filicudi, you'll also see the Grotta del Bue Marino, the largest sea cave in the Aeolian archipelago.
After docking at the port of Filicudi, you'll have two hours of free time to explore and grab lunch. Visit the archaeological site of Capo Graziano, where you can see remains of a Neolithic settlement, or check out one of the viewpoints to admire La Canna, a volcanic cliff over 80 meters tall.
Next, we'll head to the westernmost of the Aeolian Islands, Alicudi. This small volcanic island has only 150 residents and no roads; villages are connected by trails. You'll have two hours to explore at your leisure. Visit the village of San Bartolomé and its church, or the area of Contrada Tonna to see rural houses.
At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Lipari, arriving 9 hours after the start of the tour.
