Take advantage of your trip to Lipari to visit the two westernmost Aeolian Islands. On this excursion, you'll enjoy the rural tranquility of Alicudi and visit the archaeological sites of Filicudi!
Alicudi & Filicudi Excursion
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, board the boat and set sail for a day of exploration.
We'll start our cruise along the coast of Lipari to admire the Faraglioni di Lipari. As the boat approaches Filicudi, you'll be able to see the Grotta del Bue Marino, the largest sea cave in the Aeolian archipelago.
Then we'll dock at the port of Filicudi and leave you two hours of free time to explore the island and have lunch. You can visit the archaeological site of Capo Graziano and see the remains of ancient Neolithic settlement or enjoy the views from one of the island's viewpoints.
Afterwards, we’ll head to Alicudi. This small volcanic island has no roads and a population of around 150 people. You'll have two hours to discover the island at your leisure, including the village of San Bartolomé and its church, or explore the area of Contrada Tonna.
At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Lipari, arriving 9 hours after the start of the tour.
