Stromboli & Panarea Day Trip

Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and visit the islands of Stromboli and Panarea with this excursion from Lipari. Seafront homes, beautiful coves, and a magical volcanic spectacle await!

Day Trip Details

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta and board a boat to sail across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Leaving Lipari behind, we'll sail to Panarea, the second smallest island of the Aeolian archipelago.

After disembarking in Panarea, you'll have two hours of free time to explore the area. We recommend a hiking route to visit Cala Junco, one of its most famous beaches, where you can find the remains of an ancient settlement from 1400 BC.

We'll regroup at the port of Panarea and set sail for Stromboli. Weather permitting, we'll stop midway for you to take a dip in the open sea.

Then, we'll approach Stromboli to admire the volcanic activity and landscapes. At sunset, we'll set sail again to return to Lipari, witnessing the lava gushing from Stromboli's slopes.

The excursion will conclude with our arrival at the starting point, between eight and nine hours after departure from Lipari.

Important Info

If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, and it is forbidden to disembark, we'll adapt the day trip for safety. In this case, we'll make a longer stop at Panarea and then sail to Stromboli for a scenic tour from the sea, admiring Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
