Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and visit the islands of Stromboli and Panarea with this excursion from Lipari. Seafront homes, beautiful coves and a magical volcanic spectacle await!
Day Trip Details
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta and board a boat to sail across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Leaving Lipari behind, we'll sail to Panarea, the second smallest island of the volcanic Aeolian archipelago.
After disembarking in Panarea, you'll have two hours of free time to explore the area. It is recommended to take a hiking route to visit Cala Junco, one of its most famous beaches, where remains of an ancient settlement dating back to 1400 BC can be found.
We'll regroup at the port of Panarea and set sail for Stromboli. Weather permitting, we will make a stop for you to take a dip in the open sea about halfway there.
Then, we'll approach Stromboli and admire its volcanic activity and landscapes from the boat. At sunset, we will return to Lipari to witness the lava gushing from the slopes of Stromboli.
The excursion will conclude with our arrival at the starting point, between eight and nine hours after departure from Lipari.
Important Info
If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, disembarking on the island will be forbidden. We will adapt the day trip by making a longer stop at Panarea and then sailing to Stromboli for a scenic tour from the sea, where we will admire Strombolicchio and the impressive Sciara del Fuoco.
