Visit one of the most famous Aeolian Islands on this excursion from Lipari. Enjoy a cruise in the Tyrrhenian Sea, then take a mud bath or go hiking - explore Vulcano at your own pace!

Vulcano Excursion

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari and head to the pier where a boat awaits to take us to Vulcano. All aboard!

On board the boat, we'll skirt the Vulcanello peninsula, connected to the northern part of the island of Vulcano. These two territories were separated until the 16th century due to various volcanic eruptions.

Continuing our cruise through the Tyrrhenian Sea, we'll admire the surroundings of the island including sea caves, black sand beaches, the town of Gelso, and the great volcano in the center of Vulcano. You can capture many photographs!

If the weather is favorable, we'll make a stop or two to enjoy a dip in the open sea.

Once we disembark, you'll have two hours of free time to have lunch and explore. If you prefer hiking, trek up the Gran Cratere della Fossa to see its fumaroles. For a more relaxing option, visit the bubbling mud baths of Porto di Levante, known for their therapeutic properties.

After 2 hours of exploring, we'll regroup at the boat and return to the starting point, arriving 8 hours after the start of the tour.
