The fishing village of Peniche, the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic, the Fort of San Juan Bautista... Discover the natural charm of the archipelago with this Berlenga Grande Day Trip from Lisbon.

Berlenga Grande Day Trip

We will meet between 8 and 8:30 am, depending on the chosen meeting point in central Lisbon, before heading north to Peniche.

After an hour and a half, we will arrive at Peniche, board a boat at the port, and head to the Berlengas Islands.

Upon arriving at Berlenga Grande, the largest island in this biosphere reserve, we will tour its narrow streets and natural paths leading to the Sao Jao Baptista Fortress.

This medieval fortress is linked to the mainland by a stone bridge, allowing for scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean during a break.

Next, we will explore the natural attractions of Berlenga Grande by either snorkelling in the Atlantic Ocean or enjoying a boat ride with a glass bottom through the caves and grottos, depending on group size.

The tour concludes with a return to Lisbon, arriving at the starting point by 4 pm.
