Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Praça da Figueira. From Lisbon, we'll head north to Peniche, arriving after 1.5 hours. There, we'll board a boat to the Berlengas Islands.

After a short boat ride, we'll reach Berlenga Grande. We will tour this biosphere reserve, walking through its narrow streets and natural paths with sea views to the Fort of the Berlengas or Fort of São João Baptista das Berlengas.

We'll explore this medieval fortress, connected to the mainland by a stone bridge, and take a break to enjoy the views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Next, we'll discover underwater treasures with a glass-bottom boat ride through the caves and grottos of the Berlengas Islands.

Finally, we'll visit the medieval villa of Óbidos, strolling along narrow streets and taking in scenic views of the west. Then, we will return to Lisbon, concluding the 9-hour day trip at Praça Marquês de Pombal.
