Let yourself be enchanted by the mystic Shrine of Fatima on this day trip to the sacred pilgrimage site from Lisbon and discover the history of the Marian apparitions in the Portuguese town.

Fatima Day Trip

At the indicated time we'll pick you up from Praça da Figueira in Lisbon and set off by minibus to the town of Fátima. The journey from Lisbon takes around an hour and a half.

Arriving in Fátima, you'll have two hours of free time to tour the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, built on the spot where the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children named Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in 1917.

We recommend visiting the Chapel of the Apparitions and exploring the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, which features a bronze crown weighing 7,000 kilograms atop its main bell tower. Also worth a visit are the Chapel of St Joseph and the modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity, opened in 2007, where mass may be possible; check the schedule in advance.

After Fátima, we'll continue to Aljustrel, located five minutes away, to visit the Casa dos Pastorinhos: the home of Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta.

Lastly, we'll return to the center of Lisbon, with a drop-off scheduled 6.5 hours after pickup in Praça do Marquês de Pombal.
