Sintra Deluxe
Full day collective excursion in Sintra
- 9 hours
Discover Sintra, the "cultural landscape" declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Departure from Lisbon.
Start your day at the westernmost end of the European continent, where the majestic precipices of Cabo da Roca merge with the powerful waves of the Atlantic, giving away a spectacular scene.
From there, we will advance along the coast towards Sintra, a charming village worthy of a fairy tale, known as World Heritage by UNESCO for its remarkable "cultural landscape". Walk your old town, where the cobbled streets and picturesque shops invite you to discover local delicacies and indigenous crafts.
Take advantage of a moment of rest to enjoy a relaxing lunch (Optional) in this environment full of history and beauty.
Subsequently, we will head to the impressive Palacio da Pena, located at the heights of the Sintra mountains. This symbol of romanticism, with its vibrant and eclectic architecture, offers stunning views and a rich amalgam of styles.
Upon returning, we will appreciate the magnificent view of the Playa do Guincho, a wild and windy place perfect for surf lovers, as well as the impressive Boca do Inferno, a rocky formation where the sea collapses in a natural cavity.
We will arrive at Cascais, a town that once was a fisherman, now turned into a refined shelter for the aristocracy. Discover its vibrant streets, lively marina and captivating beaches that reflect the essence of coastal life in Portugal.
We will cultivate the day with a panoramic view of Sterile, known for hosting one of the largest casinos in Europe and being a coastal destination loaded with glamour and history.
