At the indicated time, we'll meet at Praça da Figueira to start our Tomar day trip. After approximately an hour and a half of travel through central Portugal, we'll arrive at our first destination, Almourol Castle.

We'll approach the 12th-century fortress, located on a small island in the Tejo River, by boat and enter the castle to observe its 10 towers while learning about its history as a significant military monument of the Iberian Reconquista.

After our visit, you'll have free time to sample traditional Portuguese cuisine at medieval-style restaurants in the area (lunch not included).

Following this, the bus will take us to Tomar, Templar City, where we'll explore the historical center filled with medieval monuments related to the Order of the Poor Knights of Temple, including insights into King Alfonso I and the Templars.

Accompanied by our guide, we'll visit Tomar Castle and the Convent of Christ, built in the likeness of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. We will also visit the Church of Santa Maria del Olivar, a 12th-century Gothic temple by the Knights Templar.

The tour will conclude with our return to Lisbon, arriving at Praça Marque de Pombal approximately 11 hours after pickup.
