Ballysaggartmore Towers Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 11 am at Ballysaggartmore Towers and start exploring these enigmatic buildings in County Waterford. These structures have never had a specific function throughout their history.

Our hiking route will take us all around these curious towers, located in a secluded spot 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from Lismore. You'll learn about the legends surrounding this unfinished fortress as we explore the surroundings.

As we walk, we'll share interesting stories, ranging from the time of the famine to the life of the owner, Arthur Kiely-Ussher, who began to build the towers with the idea of surprising his wife with an impressive mansion that was never completed.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point, concluding the tour at 12 pm.
