9 Day Tour of Lesotho + South Africa

Travel through Lesotho and South Africa on a 9-day route from Maseru to Durban. Encounter diverse wildlife and see the Drakensberg Mountains while exploring the Zulu culture of the region!

9-Day Tour: From Maseru to Durban

Day 1: Maseru

Upon arrival at Maseru Airport, we will visit the Basotho Hat Craft Center before touring downtown and checking in at the hotel.

Day 2: Maseru – Ha Kome Caves – Thaba Bosiu – Koro Koro - Malealea

Our journey begins with a visit to the Ha Kome Caves, followed by Thaba Bosiu Plateau and a traditional lunch in Koro Koro. We will conclude the day with dinner and overnight in Malealea.

Day 3: Malealea – Sotho – Morija – Roma – Semonkong

After breakfast, we will explore Sotho and visit the San Rock Art Paintings. After lunch in Morija, we will check out the Morija Museum before heading to our accommodation in Semonkong for dinner.

Day 4: Semonkong

This day is for relaxation with meals provided. Activities are optional, including a suggested pony ride to Maletsunyane Waterfalls.

Day 5: Semonkong – Drakensberg Mountains

After breakfast, we will head to the Drakensberg Mountains, visiting notable dams like Katse Dam. We will spend the night in South Africa.

Day 6: Drakensberg Mountains – Sani Pass - Underberg

Starting with breakfast, we visit Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park and cross into Lesotho via Sani Pass, enjoying lunch at Sani Mountain Lodge. We return to Underberg for the night.

Day 7: Underberg – Saint Lucia - Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park

After breakfast, we travel to Saint Lucia for lunch and a boat tour of the estuary before resting in Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park.

Day 8: Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park

We will visit a Zulu reserve and go on safari in Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park to spot the Big Five. Dinner will be at our accommodation.

Day 9: Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park– Durban

After breakfast, we depart for Durban Airport in time for your flight.
