Explore the breathtaking Great Ocean Road in Southeast Australia with us on this unforgettable tour, ending with a mesmerizing sunset at the Twelve Apostles Beach.
Tour Details
The journey begins with a pickup from your Melbourne hotel. Indigenous people have inhabited this area for 40,000 years. During the tour, insights about this natural paradise will be shared.
As we depart Melbourne, enjoy spectacular views of the city and Port Phillip Bay while crossing the Westgate, Australia’s longest bridge. Our first stop is the town of Anglesea, where we will stroll along the Anglesea River.
Our scenic route continues along the lakes of the Great Ocean Road to Kennett River, where there will be time for lunch.
Post-lunch, we will explore eucalyptus-filled forests, home to the iconic koala. The journey continues through the Great Otway National Park to the Shipwreck Coast and Port Campbell National Park.
Inside the park, visit Loch Ard Gorge and learn about a 19th-century shipwreck.
A highlight of the excursion is the sunset at Twelve Apostles Beach, where you can witness the limestone formations illuminated by the setting sun.
Before returning to Melbourne, there will be a dinner stop in Colac. The day lasts about 12 to 13 hours before we drop you back at your hotel.
