Tour Details
The journey begins with a pickup from your Melbourne hotel. Indigenous people have inhabited this region for 40,000 years, and insights into the area will be shared throughout the tour.
Leaving Melbourne, enjoy views of the city and Port Phillip Bay while crossing the Westgate, Australia's longest bridge. Our first stop is Anglesea, where you can stroll along the Anglesea River.
We continue along the lakes of the Great Ocean Road to Kennett River, where you'll have free time for lunch.
After lunch, we'll explore eucalyptus-filled forests, home to koalas, before traveling through the Great Otway National Park to the Shipwreck Coast and Port Campbell National Park, noted for its rock formations.
Inside the park, we'll visit Loch Ard Gorge and discuss a 19th-century shipwreck.
The tour culminates with a sunset at Twelve Apostles Beach, where the limestone formations are beautifully illuminated. Before returning to Melbourne, we'll stop for dinner in Colac at a local restaurant. The day lasts 12 to 13 hours, after which we will return you to your hotel.
