Tour of Darwin
After pickup from the meeting point in Darwin, we will board a minibus to visit significant locations in the Northern Territory's most populated city. This five-hour tour will cover Darwin's historical aspects, representing over 60 nationalities and 70 ethnicities. Our first stop will be the Darwin Aviation Museum in an old hangar, showcasing historic aircraft, including those used during the Second World War and the B-52 Stratofortress.
We will learn about the first foreign air raid on Australian territory in Darwin, a pivotal event for the local population known as 'Australia's Pearl Harbour'. Next, we will visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and conclude at the Darwin Botanical Gardens, which hosts unique marine plants and exotic species amidst local wildlife.
The tour will conclude back at the meeting point.
