Explore the city famous for the Beatles with this Liverpool History Tour. You'll walk around the old town's main monuments as we reveal all its secrets - a must-see!

Liverpool History Tour

We'll meet at 2:30 pm in front of Sailors' Home Gate and start our guided tour of Liverpool. The tour will cover the evolution of the city over more than three centuries.

We will walk through the streets of Liverpool, exploring the history and architecture until we reach the Chinese Arch, which marks the entrance to the oldest Chinatown in Europe.

Near Chinatown, we will visit the Liverpool Cathedral, built in red sandstone. We will explore its façade and discuss the significance of this 20th-century Gothic-style structure designed by Giles Gilbert Scott.

Next, we will visit St Luke's Church, also known as the 'bombed church,' where we will discuss the complex chapters of the city's history during the Second World War and its recovery.

Finally, we will walk through the Cultural Quarter, discovering St George's Hall, a notable neoclassical building in Europe, and the Liverpool Central Library.

The tour will end around the Cultural Quarter at 4:30 pm.
