Best of Zambia 10-day Safari Tour

On this unforgettable 10-day safari through the best of Zambia, we'll travel from Livingstone to Lusaka to see the most famous animals of the savannah and learn about traditional African culture.

Description

Day 1: Livingstone

Welcome to Zambia! We'll pick you up at Livingstone Airport and transfer you to a hotel in the city. After some downtime, we'll embark on a sunset boat ride on the Zambezi River, where we'll see Victoria Falls. Post-ride, we'll return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 2: Livingstone - Victoria Falls - Livingstone

After breakfast, we'll drive to Victoria Falls for a 2.5-hour tour to view the waterfalls. Next, we visit the Livingstone Museum before lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we'll visit the National Gallery of Art and Mukuni Village before returning for dinner.

Day 3: Livingstone - Mosi Park - Kalomo - Choma

We’ll depart at dawn for a sunrise safari in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, focusing on white rhinos. Post-safari, we'll have breakfast, then head to Kalomo for lunch and finally to Choma for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Choma

After breakfast, we'll visit the Choma Museum and have lunch nearby. Then, we'll go to the Mukanzubo Kalinda Institute to learn about the Tonga people and spend the night in the village.

Day 5 and 6: Mukanzubo Kalinda Institute

These days will focus on cultural experiences at the Mukanzubo Kalinda Institute. After breakfast, activities will include music and dance classes, museum visits, and handicraft workshops. Meals will be provided at the Kalinda Choma Institute.

Day 7: Mukanzubo Kalinda Institute - Monze - Chikakanta

Post breakfast, we'll leave for Monze and visit the Samu Lya Moomba National Heritage Site. We'll then travel to Mazabuka for lunch before heading to Chikakanta for the night.

Day 8: Chikakanta

After breakfast, we'll visit a traditional village to meet a Tonga family. Post-visit, we'll return to the lodge for rest.

Day 9: Chikakanta - Lusaka

After breakfast, we'll travel to Lusaka, arriving at a hotel for the day. We'll visit the Lusaka National Museum before dinner.

Day 10: Lusaka

On the final day, we'll have breakfast and then transfer you to the airport in Lusaka.
