Day Trip to Lucca + Pisa

On this trip from Livorno to Lucca and Pisa, we'll explore significant historical sites in two Tuscan cities.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet in via Claudio Cogorano to begin our journey by bus to Lucca.

Upon arrival in the historic center of Lucca, we will enjoy an escorted walking tour, admiring landmarks including the exterior of the Basilica of San Frediano and the Palazzo Guinigi. We will also discuss the historical significance of Amphitheater Square and share stories about the composer Giacomo Puccini, a former resident of the city.

Following the tour, there will be approximately two hours for lunch and further exploration.

After three hours in Lucca, we will board the bus for a 40-minute drive to Pisa, where you will be dropped off a 15-minute walk from Piazza dei Miracoli. You will have around one hour and 45 minutes to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery.

After 7 hours of sightseeing, we will return to the starting point.
