Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Eurostars uHotel and leave Ljubljana heading north, towards the picturesque mountainous region of the Julian Alps. Along the way, we'll share meaningful insights and fun facts about the region.

After about an hour of travel, we'll arrive at the idyllic area of Bled, one of Slovenia's most famous destinations. The tour will begin with a visit to Bled Castle, allowing you to explore the area at your own pace before rejoining the guide. The fortress is perched 130 m (400 ft) high on a cliff overlooking the city. Inside, you'll learn about notable historical figures associated with the castle.

After the castle tour, we will descend to the town for a gentle boat ride to Lake Bled aboard a traditional Slovenian Pletna boat.

Once we dock at the lake, you'll have half an hour of free time to explore Bled independently and enjoy some local snacks. Afterwards, we will return to the Slovenian capital.
