Bled's magical castle and lake have been the setting of numerous fairytales throughout history. Let yourself be spellbound by this wonderful area when you take this tour from Ljubljana.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Eurostars uHotel and leave Ljubljana heading north, towards the picturesque mountainous region of the Julian Alps.

After traveling for about an hour, we'll arrive at the idyllic area of Bled, one of the most famous destinations in Slovenia. We'll start our tour of the city with a guided visit to Bled Castle. The fortress is perched 400 feet high on a cliff overlooking the city. Inside the monument, you'll learn about notable figures who've lived here throughout history.

When the castle tour has finished, we'll descend to the town to enjoy a gentle boat ride to Lake Bled aboard a traditional Slovenian Pletna boat.

Once we've docked at the wharf of the lake, you'll have half an hour of your own free time to explore Bled at your own pace, along with a tasting of local snacks. Afterwards, we'll take you back to the Slovenian capital.
