Literally built on the side of a mountain, Predjama Castle guards some big secrets. This exciting tour takes you deep into the citadel before also heading to the mysterious Postojna Cave system.

We'll depart from the Eurostars uHotel in Ljubljana and head south, crossing the natural landscapes that surround the Slovenian capital.

After driving for about an hour, we reach Postojna, Europe's most visited cave system. The cave is popular for its spectacular stalactites and stalagmites which line the ceiling and floor. While in Postojna, we'll also have a tasting of local spirits.

After the guided cave tour, we proceed to the nearby Predjama Castle, located only 15 minutes away. This citadel is constructed into the rock face of a mountain.

During our fort tour, we'll learn about the legend of Erasmus of Lueg, the Barron known as the 'Robin Hood of Slovenia', who was betrayed and killed by one of his men.

Once our guided tour of Predjama Castle has finished, we'll return to the meeting point in Ljubljana. Arrival in the capital is scheduled for 5.5 hours after departure.
