The Fernando Alonso Museum and Circuit is in Llanera, 15 minutes by car from Oviedo and half an hour from Gijón. Its location makes it a significant tourist attraction in Asturias.

A Bit of History

Fernando Alonso Diaz, born in Oviedo on July 29, 1981, showed talent for driving from a young age, winning the Asturian Children's Karting Championship in 1988 and 1989. He became the World Karting Champion in 1996 and debuted in Formula 1 in 2001. He won the Formula 1 World Championships in 2005 and 2006 and established the museum in 2008, officially opening on June 26, 2015.

Opening Times

The museum opens Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm, with the last admission at 6 pm.

Ticket Validity

The admission ticket is one-time use and valid only for the booked day.

Karting Circuit

The museum features an International Automobile Association-approved karting circuit. Your ticket includes access to the stands, but not to drive the karts.
