Hike Details

This hiking route along the eastern coast of Asturias begins at the El Rincón de Pin restaurant in Pendueles. Participants will start by exploring Pendueles, passing by the bowling alley, church, and Casa de Indianos, while sharing interesting facts about the town.

The hike follows a section of the Camino de Santiago along the coast. After discussing the history of this Camino section, the group will reach the Pendueles Beach Lookout for photo opportunities.

Continuing along the coastal path, the hike proceeds to Playa de la Pica before moving toward the Cobijeru Complex Natural Monument, noted for its karst formations and cliffs.

This visit includes the interior beach, one of Asturias' rare styles, and an old tide mill. Participants will learn about its operation during the visit.

As the hike concludes, the group will pass through the town of Buelna, offering insights into local life and Asturian traditions. The hike wraps up back at Pendueles after approximately 2 hours.
