Join us to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Asturias on this excursion to Covadonga and Cangas de Onís.

Day Trip to Covadonga & Cangas de Onís

We'll pick you up at the bus station in Llanes and head towards the Asturian part of the Picos de Europa National Park. Here, we'll visit the famous lakes of Covadonga, known for their natural beauty.

Our first stop will be the Entrelagos viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the lakes Enol and Ercina. After enjoying the landscape, we’ll proceed to the Royal Site of Covadonga to visit the basilica and the Holy Cave, where we’ll see the figure of La Santina, the virgin associated with Don Pelayo.

After the visit to Covadonga, we’ll travel to Cangas de Onís. In this town, located on the banks of the rivers Sella and Güeña, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore its culinary offerings and beautiful landscapes.

During this time, you can view the Roman bridge over the Sella River and visit several monuments, including the church of Santa María de la Asunción and the statue of Don Pelayo.

We will reconvene in the center of Cangas de Onís to begin our return journey to Llanes, arriving approximately seven hours after pickup.
