Join us on a day trip to the Lakes of Covadonga and Cangas de Onís, exploring the landscapes of Asturias.
Day Trip to Covadonga & Cangas de Onís
Pickup will be at the bus station in Llanes, followed by a journey to Picos de Europa National Park. We will visit the Lakes of Covadonga, notable for their natural beauty.
Our first stop will be the Entrelagos viewpoint for panoramic views of Lakes Enol and Ercina. Afterwards, we will visit the Royal Site of Covadonga, including the basilica and the Holy Cave, where the figure of La Santina, a revered virgin, is located.
Following the visit to Covadonga, we will proceed to Cangas de Onís. Here, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore this picturesque town along the Sella and Güeña rivers. You can admire the Roman bridge over the Sella River and visit the church of Santa María de la Asunción, alongside the statue of Don Pelayo.
We will reconvene in the center of Cangas de Onís for our return journey to Llanes, arriving approximately seven hours after the initial pickup.
