Day Trip to Covadonga & Cangas de Onís

We'll pick you up at the designated time at the bus station in Llanes and head towards the Asturian part of Picos de Europa National Park. Here, we'll find the famous Lakes of Covadonga, known for their natural beauty.

The first stop will be at the Entrelagos viewpoint for panoramic views of Lakes Enol and Ercina. After enjoying the scenery, we will visit the Royal Site of Covadonga to see its basilica and the Holy Cave, which houses the figure of La Santina, the virgin who aided Don Pelayo in the Reconquest.

Following our visit to Covadonga, we will proceed to Cangas de Onís. In this town located by the rivers Sella and Güeña, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore its culinary offerings and landscapes.

During this time, you can admire the Roman bridge over the Sella River and visit notable sites such as the church of Santa María de la Asunción and the statue of Don Pelayo.

We will reconvene in the center of Cangas de Onís and start our return journey to Llanes, arriving seven hours after pickup.
