Day Tour to Covadonga & Cangas de Onís



Your adventure begins with a pickup from the bus station in Llanes at the scheduled time, followed by our journey towards the remarkable Picos de Europa National Park located in Asturias. Here, nestled among steep cliffs, you will discover the renowned Lakes of Covadonga, where the striking beauty of nature awaits.



Our first stop will be at the Entrelagos viewpoint, where breathtaking panoramic views of the Enol and Ercina lakes can be enjoyed. After taking some time to appreciate the vistas, we will proceed to the Royal Site of Covadonga, where we will explore the stunning basilica and the Holy Cave. Inside this cave lies the revered figure of La Santina, the virgin believed to have assisted Don Pelayo during the Reconquest.



Once we conclude our enriching visit to Covadonga, we will continue to Cangas de Onís. This charming Asturian locality is situated along the banks of the Sella and Güeña rivers, and you will have 2 hours of free time to savor its culinary offerings and picturesque surroundings at your own pace.



During your free time, take a moment to admire the Roman bridge spanning the Sella River and explore significant sites such as the church of Santa María de la Asunción. You will also find the memorable statue of Don Pelayo in front of this church.



Our day will conclude as we reconvene in the heart of Cangas de Onís before commencing the return trip to Llanes, with an estimated arrival seven hours after our initial pickup.
