Cerro Puñay 2-Day Excursion

Day 1

After picking you up at your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa at 7 am, we will head southwest towards Cerro Puñay, with stops at viewpoints to appreciate the landscape and towns in Chimborazo. We will then stop at a restaurant in Chunchi for lunch, which includes a main dish and a drink. Following lunch, we will begin a 3-hour hike to the top of Cerro Puñay, reaching nearly 10,730 feet (3,270 meters). Along the hike, we will discuss the Cañari Indigenous Peoples who inhabited the area. Upon reaching the summit, we will set up tents and enjoy a sunset view. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by rest.

Day 2

We will wake up at 7:30 am and have a mountain breakfast. We will then descend Cerro Puñay, concluding the activity at 4 pm, with transportation back to your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa.

Accommodation

The excursion includes one night of lodging in tents on Cerro Puñay. The price of the tour also includes the sleeping bag.
