Discover the farthest peak from the center of the earth on our day trip to the Chimborazo Volcano. You'll hike the highest volcano in Ecuador and explore a breathtaking place.

Chimborazo Volcano Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa. From there, we'll set off on the 2-hour drive to the Chimborazo Ecological Reserve.

Upon arrival, we'll start our tour from the first mountain shelter at the reserve, admiring the views of the Chimborazo Volcano, the farthest summit from the center of the earth, including Mount Everest.

After a 1-hour walk, we'll reach the second mountain shelter. We will rest and have a snack to regain energy before continuing our hike. We'll follow the route to the Cóndor Cocha Lagoon, the highest point of our day trip.

After enjoying the views, we'll begin our descent to the base of the volcano. From there, we'll take the bus back to your hotel in Baños, completing about 8 hours of adventure.
