Discover the farthest peak from the center of the earth on our day trip to the Chimborazo Volcano. You'll hike the highest volcano in Ecuador and explore a breathtaking place.

Chimborazo Volcano Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa. We will then embark on a 2-hour drive to the Chimborazo Ecological Reserve.

Upon arrival, our tour will start from the first mountain shelter at the reserve, where we will enjoy the views of the Chimborazo Volcano, noted for being the farthest summit from the center of the earth, surpassing Mount Everest.

After a 1-hour walk, we will reach the second mountain shelter to rest and have a snack. Following our break, we will continue our hike towards the Cóndor Cocha Lagoon, the highest point of our trip.

After taking in the views, we’ll begin our descent to the base of the volcano. From there, we will return by bus to your hotel in Baños, with a total duration of about 8 hours for the day adventure.
