Quilotoa Lake Excursion
Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa and set off towards Quilotoa. The two-and-a-half-hour journey includes a ride along the famous Calle de los Volcanes, which offers views of significant volcanoes of the Andes.
We'll continue by car until we reach the entrance to Quilotoa Lake. From there, we will embark on a half-hour walk to the lake, known for its intense turquoise color.
Our next stop will be at the Shalala viewpoint, providing views of the lagoon and surrounding area. After this visit, we'll return to the bus, which will take about an hour and a half.
On the return journey to the hotel, we will learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the different Indigenous communities in the area. The approximate time of arrival is at 4 pm.
