Have an unforgettable day hiking at the Tungurahua Volcano on our day trip from Baños de Agua Santa. You'll admire fantastic views of this Andean region and explore one of the most beautiful parts of Ecuador.

Tungurahua Volcano Day Trip

Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in Baños de Agua Santa. We'll then travel towards the Tungurahua Volcano, which is 16,480 feet (5,023 metres) above sea level.

After a 1-hour bus ride, we'll arrive at the volcano's access point. From here, we'll start our hiking route through one of the beautiful areas of Ecuador.

The hike will take around 3 hours. During our ascent, we'll observe the unique flora and fauna found in the Andean highlands. Upon reaching the mountain shelter, we'll take a break for a picnic lunch. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the area surrounding the Tungurahua Volcano.

After exploring the area and admiring the panoramic views, we'll take the bus back to your hotel, arriving around 4 pm.
