Tungurahua Volcano Day Trip

Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in Baños de Agua Santa. We'll then hit the road towards the Tungurahua Volcano, which towers at 16,480 feet (5,023 metres) above sea level.

After a 1-hour bus ride, we'll arrive at the volcano's access point. From here, we'll set off on a hiking route through one of the most beautiful places in Ecuador.

The walk to the top will take around 3 hours. During our ascent, we'll observe the flora and fauna found in the Andean highlands. When we arrive at the mountain shelter, we'll take a break and have a picnic lunch. From there, you'll have views of the area surrounding the Tungurahua Volcano.

After strolling around and admiring the panoramic views, we'll take the bus back to your hotel, arriving at around 4 pm.
