Have an unforgettable day hiking at the Tungurahua Volcano on our day trip from Baños de Agua Santa. You'll admire fantastic views of this Andean region and explore one of the most beautiful parts of Ecuador.

Tungurahua Volcano Day Trip

Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in Baños de Agua Santa. We'll then travel towards the Tungurahua Volcano, which stands at 16,480 feet (5,023 metres) above sea level.

After a 1-hour bus ride, we'll arrive at the volcano's access point. We'll begin our hiking route through this stunning region.

The hike to the top will take approximately 3 hours. During the ascent, we'll observe the diverse flora and fauna of the Andean highlands. Upon reaching the mountain shelter, we'll take a break for a picnic lunch. From this point, you'll have spectacular views of the area surrounding the Tungurahua Volcano.

After exploring the area and enjoying the views, we will return by bus to your hotel, arriving around 4 pm.
