Catalonia Medieval Villages Day Trip Itinerary

On this tour, you'll be picked up from your selected meeting point in Lloret de Mar and board a comfortable air-conditioned bus for your tour of the Medieval villages of Catalonia. The first stop will be Rupit, located in the province of Girona, after approximately an hour and a half's drive.

In Rupit, you'll have free time to explore its cobblestone streets and cross the famous hanging bridge. A delicious lunch of typical local delicacies will be provided.

Next, you will visit the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Far, situated over 1000 metres (over 3200 feet) high, offering views of the Girona scenery.

Then, you'll be taken to Besalú, where you can visit the 12th century Romanesque bridge; the Miqvé, or Jewish baths; and the church-monastery of Sant Pere at your own pace.

Finally, the tour concludes with your return to Lloret de Mar, dropping you off at the meeting point at around 7 pm.
