Catalonia Medieval Villages Day Trip Itinerary

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your selected meeting point in Lloret de Mar and board a comfortable air-conditioned bus for your tour of the Medieval villages of Catalonia. The first stop is Rupit, located in the province of Girona.

After approximately an hour and a half's drive, you'll arrive in Rupit, where you'll have free time to explore its cobblestone streets and cross its famous hanging bridge. A lunch of typical local delicacies will also be provided to renew your energy for the next part of your tour.

Following your visit to Rupit, the next stop is the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Far, a historic church located over 1000 metres (over 3200 feet) high, offering views over the surrounding scenery of Girona.

Next, you'll visit Besalú, another Medieval village with significant history. You'll have time to discover its 12th century Romanesque bridge, the Miqvé (Jewish baths), and the church-monastery of Sant Pere at your own pace.

At the end of your day trip, you'll return to Lloret de Mar and be dropped off at the meeting point around 7 pm.
