Montserrat Day Trip Itinerary

On the day of the tour, we'll set off from Lloret de Mar toward the Montserrat massif. To get to the base of the mountain, we will take a bus ride lasting about an hour and a half.

Once at the foot of Montserrat, we will board the rack railway. After a 20-minute ride with spectacular views, we will begin exploring & learning about the history of the place, starting with a tasting of a liqueur made by the monks of the abbey.

You will have free time to explore the monastery, constructed between curious rock formations, and visit the famous venerated statue of the Virgin of Montserrat.

There will be free time until 3 pm for lunch at one of the local restaurants before the return journey to Lloret de Mar.

Your guide will share further myths and legends related to the monastery during the tour.
