Montserrat Day Trip Itinerary

On the day of the tour, we'll set off from Lloret de Mar toward the Montserrat massif. The bus ride to the base of the mountain lasts about an hour and a half.

Upon arrival, we will board the rack railway for a 20-minute ride, taking in the views of the surroundings. After this, we will learn about the area's history while tasting a liqueur made by the monks living in the abbey.

You'll then have free time to explore the monastery, built among unique rock formations, and visit the statue of the Virgin of Montserrat, allegedly discovered in a cave.

You will have free time until 3 pm to eat at one of the local restaurants before returning to Lloret de Mar.

Your guide will share additional myths and legends about the monastery during the tour.
