Montserrat Day Trip Itinerary

On the day of the tour, we'll depart from Lloret de Mar toward the Montserrat massif, taking a bus ride of approximately an hour and a half to reach the base of the mountain.

At Montserrat's foot, we will board the rack railway for a 20-minute ride with spectacular views. Afterward, we will learn about the area's history and taste a liqueur produced by the monks residing in the abbey.

Participants will have free time to explore the monastery, located among interesting rock formations, and visit the venerated statue of the Virgin of Montserrat believed to have been found in a cave.

There will be free time until 3 pm for lunch in one of the local restaurants before returning to Lloret de Mar. Your guide will share more myths and legends about the monastery during the trip.
