Immerse yourself in the marine depths for the first time with this scuba diving baptism around the island of Gili Trawangan, one of Indonesia's submarine paradises.

Beginner Scuba Experience

Meet at the scuba centre in the Pesona Beach Resort & Spa Hotel on Gili Trawangan. A certified English speaking instructor will teach the basic principles of diving and the regulations based on the DSD program (Discover Scuba Diving). You will receive wetsuits, masks, tubes, and flippers, and practice in the centre's pool.

After training, board a boat to the dive sites. Choose either one or two submersions when booking. You will dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on individual oxygen consumption, exploring the marine fauna and flora around the island.

After the dive, return to the submarine centre to change into dry clothes.

Timetable

Two time slots are available for this experience:

8:30 am: After introductory training, dive at 11:30 am; return at 1 pm.10:30 am: After training, dive at 2 pm; enjoy a 60-minute lunch break; return at 4 pm.

The timetable varies based on the chosen submersion.

Important Information

The minimum age is 10 years old.No prior scuba diving experience is required.Complete a form to certify that you are physically fit before the immersion.
