PADI Open Water Diving Course

This 3 day course is designed for learning to scuba dive in open waters. The theoretical training occurs at the scuba diving centre at Gili Trawangan's Pesona Beach Resort & Spa hotel. The course follows guidelines outlined in the PADI Open Water training, and you will receive an official certificate upon completion. Day one includes five instructional videos and training in the centre's pool.

After achieving the necessary training level, the next two days will consist of 4 submersions in open waters. One day will include two dives to a maximum depth of 12 metres and the following day will allow for two dives up to 18 metres. Expect to encounter various marine fauna such as octopus and clownfish.

Who can join this activity?

Participants must fill in a form verifying they are physically fit.To join the 3 day PADI Open Water Course, you must complete two pool tests: 10 minutes of floating and either 200 metres of swimming without assistance or 300 metres with a mask and snorkel.

Taxes not included

The activity does not include local tax. A payment of 100,000 Indonesian rupiah per person (approx 8 USD) is required in cash on the first day of the course.
