PADI Open Water Diving Course

This 3 day course is designed for learning to scuba dive in open waters. The theoretical training occurs at the scuba diving center at Gili Trawangan's Pesona Beach Resort & Spa hotel. During the course, adhering to PADI Open Water training guidelines, you will receive an official certificate upon completion. The first day includes five instructional videos and practical training with equipment in the pool.

After the initial training, the next two days involve 4 open water dives. One day includes two dives to a maximum depth of 12 metres, and the second day features two dives up to 18 metres. Dive into the rich marine life of the Gili archipelago.

Who can join this activity?

Participants must complete a form confirming physical fitness.To enroll in the course, participants must pass two pool tests: 10 minutes of floating and either 200 metres of swimming without assistance or 300 metres with a mask and snorkel.

Taxes not included

The activity requires payment of a local tax of 100,000 Indonesian rupiah per person (approx 8 USD) in cash on the first day.
