The HMS Belfast is the Royal Navy’s flagship, now a museum ship and the only cruiser present during key 20th-century events. Its first crucial mission was in 1939, aimed at blocking Germany during World War II.

Exploring its nine decks provides insight into history, as visitors experience life aboard through areas like the dentistry, infirmary, laundry room, and bakery, offering a unique perspective on the war.

Gun Turret Experience

The Gun Turret Experience is a highlight of the museum featuring an AV installation that immerses visitors in the battle atmosphere through special effects, sound, smoke, and movement. This installation, located in one of the gun turrets, is designed by veterans of the British Royal Marine and inspired by the Battle of the North Cape, ensuring a memorable experience.
