The HMS is the Royal Navy’s flagship. Now converted into a museum ship, the HMS Belfast is the only cruiser to witness the most decisive historic events in the 20th century. Its first mission and one of the most important occurred in 1939 when it sailed to block Germany during World War II.

Each detail of the HMS Belfast relates a crucial part of history. Exploring its nine decks takes you back in time, allowing you to feel part of the crew who lived on board. Discover the dentistry, infirmary, laundry room or the bakery, which will provide a unique perspective of life during the war.

Gun Turret Experience

The Gun Turret Experience is a must-see AV museum installation and one of the highlights of the museum ship. Special effects, sound, smoke, and movements create an immersive atmosphere that gives visitors the impression they are fighting at sea.

Located in one of the boat’s gun turrets, this installation has been developed by veterans of the British Royal Marine and inspired by the Battle of the North Cape. This engaging part of the museum is sure to leave a lasting impact.
