Discover the cultural heritage of two typical English cities, Oxford and Cambridge. You'll learn about their academic tradition and the medieval buildings which line their streets.

Description

Leaving the centre of London at the indicated time, we will travel to Oxford, our first stop. Here, we will visit this city known for its prestigious academic tradition.

We will pass by the Bodleian Library, the main research library for the University of Oxford, and admire its façade while learning about its history. The library houses the Radcliffe Camera and the Hooke Library.

Our walking tour will include the historic Christ Church college, where various important figures were educated. This college is also notable for being featured in the Harry Potter series, specifically in scenes set in the dining room.

After Oxford, we will head to Cambridge, known for its university. We will visit the King's College chapel, a prominent gothic monument, and other notable sights such as the University Library and Peterhouse, the oldest college founded in 1284.
