The Royal Observatory in Greenwich is the home of British astronomy and navigation. Built in the 17th century, it has served as a site for mapping stars to aid navigation at sea.

This ticket provides access to the location that established Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and features the prime meridian, the point where East meets West - 0° 0’ 0”. You can stand on it!

During the tour, you will have an audio guide to explain the historical astronomical advancements made at this center.

Opening Hours

The Greenwich Observatory is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm, with the last admission at 4:30 pm. Note that these hours may vary occasionally.
