On this tour, we'll visit one of England's most famous cathedrals, the world's best-known megalithic monument, and the oldest inhabited castle in the world.

Stonehenge, Salisbury and Windsor Day Trip

We'll meet in the centre of London at 7:45 am. Our first stop will be Windsor Castle, the oldest inhabited castle in the world.

Here, you'll have free time to explore its halls and see works of art from notable artists like Rembrandt and Rubens. You can also visit St. George's chapel, where historical figures such as Henry VIII are interred.

Departing London, we head towards Salisbury, home to Stonehenge, built over 5,000 years ago with stones weighing more than 40 tonnes. Its purpose remains uncertain, whether as a religious site, cemetery, or astronomical observatory.

Next, we arrive in Salisbury, known for its cathedral, constructed 800 years ago and reaching 123 metres in height. The cathedral houses the world's oldest working clock and the best-preserved copy of the Magna Carta in the "chapter house," a key document in the history of the English parliament.

We will return to central London, arriving around 6:30 pm. You will be dropped off a short walk from Gloucester Road, near South Kensington tube station.

Important

As Windsor Castle is a functioning Royal Palace, it may occasionally be closed. Please note you will have limited time in each city due to travel duration.
