On this tour, we'll visit one of England's famous cathedrals, the world's best-known megalithic monument, and the oldest inhabited castle in the world.

Stonehenge, Salisbury and Windsor Day Trip

We'll meet in central London at 7:45 am. The first stop will be Windsor Castle, the oldest inhabited castle in the world. You will have free time to explore its halls, view works of art from artists like Rembrandt and Rubens, and visit St. George's Chapel, the resting place of historical figures including Henry VIII.

Afterwards, we head west towards Salisbury, home to Stonehenge, built with stones weighing over 40 tonnes over 5,000 years ago. The purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery, whether as a temple, cemetery, or something astronomically related.

Next, we will visit the city of Salisbury, renowned for its cathedral built 800 years ago and standing at 123 metres high. In the cathedral, you can see the world's oldest working clock and the best-preserved copy of the Magna Carta, an essential document in the history of the English parliament and modern law.

Finally, we will return to central London, arriving around 6:30 pm. You will be dropped off a short walk from Gloucester Road, near South Kensington tube station.
