On this tour, we'll visit one of England's most famous cathedrals, the world's best-known megalithic monument, and the oldest inhabited castle in the world.

Stonehenge, Salisbury and Windsor Day Trip

We'll meet in the centre of London at 7:45 am. Our first stop will be Windsor Castle, the oldest inhabited castle in the world. Here, you'll have free time to pass through its different halls, discovering why it's a favorite of the King's residences. You can admire works of art from Rembrandt and Rubens and visit St. George's Chapel, where historical figures such as Henry VIII are laid to rest.

Leaving London, we head west toward Salisbury, home to Stonehenge, the world's most famous megalithic monument, built with stones weighing over 40 tonnes over 5,000 years ago. The purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery, as it may have been a religious temple, a cemetery, or related to astronomy.

Our next stop will be Salisbury, known for its cathedral, built 800 years ago and standing at an incredible 123 metres high. Inside, you can find the world's oldest working clock and the best-preserved copy of the Magna Carta in the "chapter house," one of the foundational documents of the English parliament and modern law.

Finally, we'll return to the centre of London, arriving around 6:30 pm, where we'll drop you off a few minutes' walk from Gloucester Road, near South Kensington tube station.
