Stonehenge, Salisbury and Windsor Day Trip

We will meet in central London at 7:45 am. Our first stop is Windsor Castle, the oldest inhabited castle in the world. You will have free time to explore its halls, view artworks by Rembrandt and Rubens, and visit St. George's Chapel, the burial site of historical figures including Henry VIII.

Next, we will travel west to Stonehenge, the world's most famous megalithic monument, constructed over 5,000 years ago with stones weighing over 40 tonnes. The purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery, with theories suggesting it may have been a religious site, a cemetery, or an astronomical observatory.

Our third stop will be Salisbury, known for its cathedral, built 800 years ago and standing 123 metres high. Inside the cathedral, you can see the world's oldest working clock and the best-preserved copy of the Magna Carta, housed in the chapter house.

We will return to central London around 6:30 pm, dropping you off a short walk from Gloucester Road, near South Kensington tube station.

Windsor Castle may occasionally be closed as it is a functioning Royal Palace. Please note that visit times in each city are limited due to long travel times.
