Entry + Guided Tour (45 Minutes)
At the specified time, we will convene at the castle's entrance to initiate a guided exploration, during which we will discover the key historical sites within the Castle of Lorca, including the Aljibe Grande, over a duration of 45 minutes.
Castle Lorca, referred to as the Fortaleza del Sol (Fortress of the Sun), is a significant emblem of the city that dates back to the 9th to 15th centuries. Upon its completion, it emerged as the largest defensive fortress in Europe. Together, we will unveil its intriguing history and features!
Post the guided experience, you have the opportunity to continue to discover the castle at your leisure.
Schedule: Available Monday through Sunday at 10 am.

Selecting this option will allow you to participate in the same guided tour of Castle Lorca at 10 am, after which you'll gain access to additional areas of the fortress.
Given the castle's vastness and its picturesque grounds, there are various audio guide options for its distinct sections. Discover fascinating insights about the gardens, the Alphonsine Tower, Espolon Tower, Archeological Park, and the Synagogue. The highlight is that you can explore at your desired pace!

Ongoing Improvements in the Complex
Due to active restoration projects in the Synagogue Complex area, the following spaces remain open and accessible for visitors: the outdoor remnants of the Archaeological Park, the prayer room of the Synagogue, and the audiovisual space that highlights the traces of Jewish heritage in Lorca.
