Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose one of the following tour options:

Ticket + Guided Tour (45 Minutes)

At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the fortress for a 45-minute guided tour, exploring the most emblematic sites of the Castle of Lorca and the Aljibe Grande. Castle Lorca, known as the Fortaleza del Sol, was built between the 9th and 15th centuries and became the largest European defensive fortress. After the guided tour, you can continue exploring the castle at your own pace.

Schedule: Monday to Sunday at 10 am.

Full Entry Ticket (3.5 Hours)

If you choose this option, at 10 am, you'll participate in the same guided tour of Castle Lorca, with access to the rest of the fortress. There are various audio guide tours for its separate areas, covering gardens, the Alphonsine Tower, the Espolon Tower, the Archeological Park, and the Synagogue, allowing for exploration at your own pace.

Schedule:

10 am: guided tour of Castle Lorca with an English-speaking guide.11 am: entry to the Archeological Park and Synagogue with an audio guide in English.12 pm: entry to the Alphonsine Tower with an audio guide in English.1 pm: entry to the Espolón Tower with an audio guide in English.

Construction in the Complex

Due to ongoing restoration and improvement works in the Synagogue Complex area, the open-air remains of the Archaeological Park, the Synagogue's prayer room, and the audiovisual area showcasing Jewish culture in Lorca remain accessible to visitors.
