Come and practice one of the most entertaining water sports in our introduction to scuba diving experience at Lord Howe Island. A brand new world awaits you underwater!

Lord Howe Island Scuba Diving Introduction

We'll meet at 1:30 pm at Lagoon Road. Your instructor for this introduction to scuba diving will be waiting for you.

First, we will show you a video on basic concepts about scuba diving, followed by a quick questionnaire to ensure you have processed the necessary information.

Next, we will familiarize you with the equipment before heading to the beach, where we will practice some easy exercises in shallow waters. After a few minutes, you will be able to breathe underwater comfortably.

We'll then venture further into the beautiful seas of Lord Howe Island and be underwater for approximately 40 minutes, depending on your oxygen supply.

During the experience, you may notice a myriad of different fish, colorful coral, and other sea creatures.

After the underwater submersion, we will return to the dive center and conclude our activity at 4:30 pm.

Important to note

After your last underwater immersion, you must wait at least 24 hours to board a plane or go to any high-altitude areas.
