Come and practice one of the most entertaining water sports in our introduction to scuba diving experience at Lord Howe Island. A brand new world awaits you underwater!

Lord Howe Island Scuba Diving Introduction

We'll meet up at 1:30 pm at Lagoon Road. Your instructor for this introduction to scuba diving will be there. You will first watch a video on some basic concepts about scuba diving and fill in a quick questionnaire to confirm your understanding.

Next, we'll familiarize ourselves with the equipment before heading to the beach to practice some easy exercises in shallow waters. After a few minutes, you will be able to breathe underwater comfortably.

Are you ready? We'll venture into the beautiful seas of Lord Howe Island and be underwater for approximately 40 minutes, depending on your oxygen supply. You will likely see a myriad of different fish, colorful coral, and other sea creatures.

After the underwater experience, we will return to the dive center and conclude our activity at 4:30 pm.

After your last underwater immersion, you must wait at least 24 hours to board a plane or to go to any high-altitude areas.
