Introduction to Scuba Diving at Lord Howe Island

Join us at 1:30 pm at Lagoon Road to meet your diving instructor, who will guide you through this scuba diving introduction.

The session begins with a video presentation covering some fundamental aspects of scuba diving. You will then complete a brief questionnaire to ensure you understand the essential information.

Next, we will familiarize you with the diving equipment prior to heading out to the beach. Here, you’ll engage in some basic shallow water exercises. After just a few moments, you’ll feel at ease and able to breathe underwater like a natural!

Are you prepared? We’ll then dive deeper into the stunning waters surrounding Lord Howe Island, spending about 40 minutes underwater, depending on your remaining oxygen supply.

Keep an eye out for the variety of fish, vibrant corals, and a host of intriguing marine life as you explore!

After concluding your underwater adventure, we will return to the dive center and wrap up our activity by 4:30 pm.
