Scuba Diving in Lord Howe Island

At the selected time we'll meet up at Lagoon Road. There we'll hand you the equipment and head to the docks to hop on a boat to start our underwater adventure. We'll sail to the diving area, where you will jump into the water to explore the marvelous seabed of the island.

You can take on one or two dives, depending on your choice, and will have the opportunity to admire the diverse fauna of Tasmanian waters. The visibility is notable, showcasing huge coral formations, tropical fish, reef sharks, sea turtles, and stingrays.

After the dives, we'll return to the dive center, concluding the activity.

Time and duration

If you choose the one-dive option, we'll meet at 3 pm, lasting an hour and a half. For the option with two dives, we'll meet at 9 am and return at 1:30 pm.

Morning option: 2 dives from 9 am to 1:30 pm (4 and a half hours).

Afternoon option: 1 dive from 3 pm to 4:30 pm (1 and a half hours).

Requirements

To participate in this diving activity, it's required to have the international PADI Open Water certificate or similar document proving your readiness for the dive.

Important to note

After your last underwater dive, you must wait at least 24 hours to board a plane or to go to any high-altitude areas.
