Snorkeling with Galapagos Sharks

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Lagoon Road and head to the docks to board a boat that will take us across the waters of Lord Howe Island. We'll enjoy a pleasant cruise as we approach a spot to observe the famous Galapagos Whaler Sharks.

Did you know that Lord Howe Island is the only place in Australia where you can see these sharks? We'll stop offshore and put on our fins and snorkeling goggles to dive in and see these animals up close.

Then, we'll begin to swim among the Galapagos sharks, respecting their space so as not to disturb them. We'll watch how they swim, see how they interact with each other and, back on the surface, we'll explain all kinds of curiosities about this species that can reach nearly 10 feet (3 meters) in length. An exciting learning experience!

After two hours of activity, we'll say goodbye and leave you back at the starting point.
