Snorkeling with Galapagos Sharks

At the designated time, we’ll gather at Lagoon Road before heading to the docks to embark on a boat that will navigate through the beautiful waters surrounding Lord Howe Island. Enjoy a delightful cruise as we journey towards a renowned location to encounter the iconic Galapagos Whaler Sharks.

Did you know that Lord Howe Island is the exclusive site in Australia where these sharks can be found? Once we reach our destination, we’ll don our fins and snorkeling masks to plunge into the water, getting a closer look at these fascinating animals.

We will then swim in harmony with the Galapagos sharks, taking care to respect their habitat. Observe their graceful swimming patterns and social interactions. Once back on the surface, we’ll share a range of intriguing facts about this species, which can grow up to nearly 10 feet (3 meters) long. This is not just an aquatic adventure, but also a valuable educational experience!

After two hours of immersive snorkeling, we will conclude this activity and return you to the original meeting point.
